About Me

What I have done - I have worked mostly in the insurance industry since 1992. I worked for Chubb Life in secured life insurance policies, then in credit insurance at Monumental Credit Insurance Group. At MCIG I worked in sales and marketing, product development, and then with offshore reinsurance companies. Then I moved to Abraxas Financial, where I continued to work with offshore reinsurance companies, and in the automotive F&I industry. I developed a website to market service contracts directly to consumers.

I also provided office manager support to an erosion control company that was in trouble. I turned around their collections process and timing, organized the office, accounts and cut expenses. I also worked for a hair salon that needed to have the accounts brought current in the registers, cut expenses and brought them within budget and kept them on an ongoing budget.

I have also created websites for small businesses.

Currently - I have a current credit insurance, property & casualty and life and health insurance license in Georgia. I have recently represented group and individual health insurance.

What I am looking for - I have discovered that I really enjoy working with small companies in every aspect of their businesses, from setting up the accounts, to daily operations, vendors, payroll, budgeting, to marketing and web design. I am looking for small businesses that do not need, or cannot afford a full time employee. Some businesses do not even need a part time employee, just a few hours per week. I am looking for businesses that need anything from getting back on budget, catching up the books and reconciling, ongoing bookkeeping, to marketing.
